I LOVE OUR MOBILE HOME
I t was November 1986 when we "looked at" our mobile home. It was up on blocks, and we came in through the back door and it just seemed like we were coming home. Guy did not feel the same. He wanted to be further out.
Now, after the scare of hurricane Frances - and the house stood stronger winds than I ever thought it could, I am grateful and still love it. Out mobile home is as precious to me as any two million dollar house is to its owner.
And, I tell you what, if I hear any snide remarks about mobile homes and the residents in a park, I just might have to "sock it to them" at least verbally!!!
I had Guy make a plaque with a picture of our house to hang in the Florida room by the back door.

We have received several jokes and funny remarks about hurricanes, but I think the above by Betty is the most appropriate to print in this issue. Perhaps the others will seem funnier later.
